Louis Wright (guitar & vocals) was born and raised in New York. He began his musical journey at age nine playing percussion in neighborhood bands. By age eleven, after being mesmerized by the super smooth sounds of guitarist Wes Montgomery, he developed a deep passion for the guitar. Ten years later, Lou auditioned and was selected as the guitarist for the popular PolyGram recording group,
The Fatback Band. This allowed Lou to tour the US and Europe for a year and perform at venues with artists such as Earth, Wind, and Fire, Chaka Khan, and Smokey Robinson, just to name a few. Lou continues to write, produce, and record for other artists as well as many recordings of his own.
Robert (Mr. Bassman) Benson, coming from old school to new music, has always been a part of his world. From a very young age, Robert discovered that the sounds of musical instruments fascinated him. At the age of eight, he realizedthat he had an ear for memorizing musical notes. Robert developed a passion for the bass guitar. He has played with numerous groups in the styles of R&B, Smooth Jazz, Gospel, and more.
Mary (Snow]) Brown is the lead female vocalist, able to perform intimate acoustic sets and high-energy festival performances that captivate audiences with the story behind every song. Snow is a deeply expressive artist who channels the song's smoothness, with melodies that linger long after the lights go down.
Sheldon Miller is the band’s leader and keyboardist extraordinaire. He creates a wide range of textures and timbres. Sheldon started his musical journey at the age of 15. He has worked with many notable acts over the years. His drive for musical excellence helps keep the band on course.
Dwight Crudup (Drums) The man laying down that groove while keeping it in the pocket. Dwight started playing at the age of 15 years old. Influenced by Dennis Chamber,Billy Cobham ,Lenny White ,Omar Hakim and John Blackwell.Performed with The Joneses and local groups in New York and Delaware.Recorded sessions with The Joneses ,Larry Ellis and Pamala Cornelius.
